So I’m always behind in posting things like this, so behind that my dear friend Dave’s birthday was in August and thats why I kinda fell off with posting about Annette. Annette in August was one tired kiddo by the end of the trip and the last day of the month…. ….but back to an amazing week with friends who I love. Every year since meeting dave, we have always all piling into his parents condo on lake Winni, throughout the seasons. Its an adorable little place with bunkbeds, a standup shower and one of the most comfortable couches ( aside from Jackie’s) … well it was until his mom decided she wanted a new on 😉 We stay up there when were hitting the slopes and chill on the water in the summer. I have really grown fondly of that place, but my friends are truly what makes it so special. Early in the week we ended up on the most beautiful night ride ever! It was days before the full moon yet it felt like it was already out in full force that evening. The temperature was perfect and we all coasted on the silky smooth water, listing to tunes till the early morning. The next day no one would deny the gorgeous night on the water.
The next day we went out to the store and stocked up on coldcuts and beer…. lots of it and I of course had to get my FAVORITE beer ever in the world, Woodstock Brewery Inns : Pigs Ear. Seriously, it you ever run into me in NH chances are I’ll have one close by. I cant get enough of this stuff! So as the boy lugged all the stuff down to the boat Robyn and I grabbed a shot 😉Setting up shop once we got there was easy… Bre pulled out an amazing hand (professionally looking) made game of Polish Horseshoes…(DING DING DING ! i gotta do a blog post on that as a DIY.) So many heads turned to see this cool contraption that she had produced and gifted to Dave as part of her spectacular bday present to him (the other half being a trip to nashville and an amazing pair of swim shorts that he basically lived in for the rest of the week.)
BIG THANKS to the Barker family for being so kinda and generous to us for letting us stay up there all the time and Biggest thanks to Dave for being such a great friend and always a great host.
