So, last week I didn’t do 3 of the blog challenges (from Blogtember) for whatever reason… I wasn’t inspired, didn’t strike my interest, or the fact that I have been wanted to get back to doing my own thing. Its for no particular reason…. but I think I’ve had enough of the prompts.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a total “rule” girl. I love structure and regiment, but I am also a girl that love to fly by the seat of my pants and be free. I live my life very spontaneously because for so long I was such a planner, in fact, my whole life was always planned out at least 3 months ahead of time … always (up until 2 years ago)!
Here I am, breaking free again. It doesn’t take me long to “run away” lol. I do have to say that I am extremly excited for the Swiftly Painted Self-Portrait Challenge coming up however and for all the love and support of Annmarie and I’s new followers. I’ll speak for the both of us when I say were were so surprised and happy to get all the feedback that we have been receiving! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
For now here are some stunning pictures of my shiny new BFF, Annmarie! Enjoy : )
Monday, September 23: A “life lately” post. What you’re up to, how you’re feeling, how you’re doing on your goals, etc. Bonus points for great photos!
An update: Every once and a while, things seem to pile up and you just don’t know how to tackle all the tasks at hand… needless to say, I’ve been a little buried lately. I’ve been feeling like I had a ton of cleanup to do and it got to be so overwhelming that I didn’t know where to begin. I have a ton of different shoots to finish editing, because I have ADD and I totally can’t focus on just one thing at a time, its taking me forever! I think I’m finally back on track this morning. With a fresh start of the day I have completed a few shoots, and have been plugging right away at the next ones at hand. I have a couple coming up that I am really excited about, so stay tuned for those!
High-five for friday !
Wow, this week has been amazing!
My week started off with attended my friend Sabrina and Mike’s wedding! Wow, its not very often that I am a guest at a wedding… it was soooo much fun and Sabrina was a total smoke show.
I went to Hempfest 2013 in Boston on Sunday, not because I smoke guys but because I thought it would be a great thing to see and blog about! It actually ended up to be such a great day of people watching and hanging out with two great friends: Tom and Jackie. We had so much fun.
Had a quick fun shoot for some promo pix of my bother, Joey, and his band: The Pinnacle. It was a little more adventurous then most because he had me balancing on a log, floating on a swamp, YIKES…. but don’t worry it was worth it and I didn’t fall in.
Went to a very exciting doctors apt with my friend Robyn. It was so great and I cant wait to share with you all my news in just a few weeks! Then robyn and I hung around all afternoon and got to paint our nails and watch Clueless. It was such a fun girls day!
And I ended this week with an awesome productive day with my friend Bre, doing laundry and cleaning up around the house! Bre and I, actually took our piles and piles of laundry to the laundry mat…. All just from the last week or so. Yes, we really accumulate this much laundry in such a short period of time…. it’s craziness.

Tuesday, September 17: A memory you would love to relive.
OOOOO, what a good one. A memory that I would love love love to relive, well I have a ton ( childhood, ropes course summer program, skiing trips, vacations… ) out of those top four ( yes I know I kinda just cheated) I would have to pick the trip to Spain I took my senior year of high school (partly because it has a little bit of those things all mixed in to one LONG memory). I had childhood sleepovers, I had one of my Project adventure teachers as a chaperone, and to top it off, or shall I say one of the ‘peaks’ of the trip was a skiing trip on a Massala mountain on the border of France. Yes it really was the most amazing trip. We did some classic foreshadowing by visiting The Monsterrat Monk Monasteronery (bad spelling, and yes. Montserrat College of Art is where I attended the next following fall), saw some amazing churches , and visitied The Dali Museum and Picasso Museum. Continue reading
Monday, September 16: Write a public love letter to someone in your life. (It doesn’t necessarily need to be romantic.)
( for all you lazy cursive readers click “continue reading” to read it in text)
Thursday, September 12: Discuss ways that blogging or social media has changed you.
So as I am sitting in my local towns library to beat the heat, I answer this one small writing prompt: “Discuss ways that blogging or social media has changed you.” HA, thats funny. even though is a sweet and short prompt, you could hardly imagine the impact of the result of the answer. For starters, I am sitting in the library, I mean really come on ! This blogging addiction has got me love struck ! Continue reading
Wednesday, September 11: Share links to your favorite online shops, preferably with a few photos of your favorite items in each shop.
So as long as I can remember I have always liked Pop Gloss! Now that I actually think about it, its a similar layout to Pintrest (but you just can pin items). Pop Gloss has so many different funky things all divided up by catagories. So of my favs are jewelry ( of course), handbags, and most of all alternative fashions.
I also really love Cool Hunting for great links to really awesome and contemporary items. And lets be serious…. who doesn’t love Etsy!?

One of my favorite readings is the poem “The road less traveled”, by Robert Frost. Since I can remember, I have believed that the different paths and choices made in life is the route taken to the your final destination. Destiny is a really weird and scary thing to consider. Is it possible that our lives have already been determinted? Are the so called choices we make not actually choices? Were we already planned to make that decision, long before it was decided?
A while back a close friend to me had suggested that I read “What Dreams May Come” by Richard Mattheson. This book quickly became one of my favorites. Throughout reading this book, it changed a lot of my opinions on life and afterlife. I don’t really want to give away the book (because its so amazing, and please don’t watch the movie… its absolulty terrible) so you’ll have to read it. However, just to sum it up the main character has died very early on in the book and struggles with the transision from earth to ‘heaven’. He has trouble realizing that he has passed and needs to let go and move onto the next phase. For the remainer of the book you learn abou the world above and all its different levels. Infromation of reincarnation is shared with the reader, explaining that when its time for your soul to move onto earth again, you choose the life, the people, and the expierences you need to allow your soul to learn and concure the task at hand. Upon entering earth you slate is wiped clean and you live the life you chose for yourself. This book rises a lot of questions to the surface to really challenge your mind, I highly suggest it.
